Staff Biographies

Char Fetterolf – Vice President/Director of Installation and Trainingchar1

Char is the Vice President and Director of Installation and Training at The Adventure Network.  As director he oversees every stage of challenge course development, from design and construction to staff training.

 Char is a long-term member of The Adventure Network team.  In his 10+ years he’s done everything from program design and delivery, to trainings, inspections, construction, and product development.  Prior to his time at The Adventure Network, Char worked as a challenge course manager at a school for at-risk youth.

Char enjoys rock-climbing, photography, and traveling the world with his wife, Kate.

robb1Robb Krug – Challenge Course Project Manager

Robb is a Challenge Course Project Manager at The Adventure Network.  His duties include challenge course and climbing wall installations, inspections and trainings.  Robb also coordinates materials and equipment sales for our clients.

Before joining The Adventure Network team, Robb worked as the manager of the Doylestown Rock Climbing Gym.  He is also a graduate of the National Outdoor Leadership School and East Stroudsburg University concentrating in Outdoor Recreation.  Robb enjoys exploring the outdoors with his wife and kids.


daveDave Pastorok – President/Owner

Dave is the founder and president of The Adventure Network.  Since 1986, he has facilitated team and leadership development programs within various business groups as well as the human services and educational fields. His background includes a Master of Arts degree in guidance and counseling and areas of specialization include fostering positive group dynamics, assessing and developing leadership competencies, and improving team interactions.

His experience as a psychotherapist and clinical supervisor enables him to offer our clients a multi-dimensional perspective into their team behaviors and dynamics.  Dave has presented workshops on team building, adventure based counseling, and experiential debriefing or processing techniques throughout the country including international and regional AEE (Association for Experiential Education) conferences and ACA (American Camping Association) workshops.  He is also a certified outdoor educator and has extensive experience and training in outdoor adventure activities: including rock climbing, whitewater kayaking/canoeing and challenge course operations and construction.

His personal time is spent with his wife and 3 children enjoying martial arts (black belt in Kenpo karate), outdoor adventures, rock climbing, traveling and mountaineering (summitting Mt. McKinley in 2006).
