Below are various resources freely available from The Adventure Network. For details on your program site or what forms your participants will need, please contact us. Program and training opportunities occur at various locations, so please check with your company contact prior to hitting the road.
Training and Program Forms for Participants
- Adventure Network Disclaimer
All participants (youth and adult) will need a signed disclaimer on the day of your program or training. This document can be filled out digitally or by hand. ALL YOUTH PARTICIPANTS MUST HAVE A PARENT SIGNATURE.
- “What to Bring” Checklist
A helpful guide for your training or program to remind participants of personal needs for the day. Every program and training is different and you may want to customize this list.
- ACCT Certification Requirements
This table should help answer some basic questions on certification levels offered by the Association for Challenge Course Technology (The Adventure Network is a Professional Vendor Member). Click here for more details.
Resources for Challenge Course Operations
- Adventure Network Challenge Course Training Manuals
A Low Ropes/Team Challenge Manual and a High Ropes manual are both available for purchase. Printed versions are $40 and digital versions are $20 each. Free digital copies are sent prior to all trainings booked with the Adventure Network. If you have not received a copy and are scheduled for a training, please contact the office.
- Sample Equipment Inventory Form
All challenge courses using safety equipment must maintain a current inventory of all gear. This is a sample document to get you started. Feel free to distribute or edit as needed to meet your course needs.
- Sample Equipment Inspection Log
All challenge courses must maintain a log of regular equipment inspections. The Adventure Network reviews proper inspection techniques and logging at all training programs. This is a sample document to get you started. Feel free to distribute or edit as needed to meet your course needs.
- Sample Course Inspection Daily Checklist
All challenge courses should maintain a daily log of element inspections. Although a regular (typically annual) professional inspection by a qualified vendor is required, we strongly recommend staff perform a daily inspection of all course elements prior to use. This is a sample document to get you started. Feel free to distribute or edit as needed to meet your course needs.
